Senior Content Writer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic content creation and messaging powerhouse to represent AscentHR’s branding efforts. AscentHR is a boutique HR consultancy and advisory firm with roots in payroll processing and compliance management. As you join our team, you will become part of a flat-structured organization, people-centered, delivery-led company culture and hone on cross-functional expertise.
Role Expectations
• Research industry-related topics
• Represent our company with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings, SLAs, image, and vision
• Prepare well-structured drafts using digital publishing platforms
• Create short as well as long-form content such as blogs, case studies, whitepapers, and authored articles
• Interview industry professionals and incorporate their views in blog posts
• Edit and proofread written pieces before publication
• Work with SEO professionals to internalize keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content as needed
• Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics
• Update our websites as needed
• Collaborate with designers & social media specialists to produce advertisements, promotional campaigns, and creation of targeted advocacy groups or reputation management campaigns as needed
• Develop a vision for the brand image and brand voice
Responsibilities
• Improving and safeguarding the company’s image in social networks and media
• Creating fresh content or repurposing existing collateral for distribution in media statements, social media, and mass media channels
• Reviewing the need for the creation of long-form content to relate with blogposts, newsletters, authored articles in the public domain, and social media posts
• Building content for posts that establish and maintain our domain authority in discussion groups, townhalls, awards submissions, and panel discussions.
• Creating internal and external direct mailers, creative promos and reputation building campaigns for us and our subsidiaries as required
Requirements
• Proven work experience of 6-8 years as a Content Creator, Copywriter or similar role
• Portfolio of published articles
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces
• Familiarity with SEO
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or relevant field
• Exceptional project management skills with an ability to plan and deliver on multiple tasks in tandem
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• A positive and enthusiastic persona who can interview employees, external parties, and stakeholders to glean data and create engaging write-ups
