EPFO directions to display the extract of Form 5A

The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation, vide circular no. Compliance/U/P78/2022/Advocacy/55643/13178, dated 7th October 2025, has issued a direction under Para 78(3) of the Employees’ Provident Funds Scheme, 1952, to all establishments covered under the Scheme/Act to mandatorily disclose specific information from Form 5A at the entrance of the establishment or on the website and mobile application of the establishment (if any).

The following are the information (extract from Form 5A) to be disclosed:

1. EPF Code of the establishment.

2. Registered name of the establishment.

3. Date of coverage under the EPF Scheme/Act.

4. Total number of branches and primary branch address.

5. Regional EPFO office address.

The above circular takes immediate effect, and employers are requested to ensure compliance with the above direction within 15 days of the order’s issue date (7-10-2025). Non-compliance with this direction may attract appropriate legal action under the Employees’ Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952, and Schemes framed thereunder.
