Labour Law Compliance – Team Lead

Role Expectations

Apply comprehensive knowledge on Labour Law Compliances to address operational and advisory requirements of clients.

Demonstrate expertise on interpretation of various provisions in the law that help define legal interpretation of areas such as wages, time-offs, statutory policies of organizations.

Handle the entire Labour Law compliance operation at Ascent HR and for clients

Responsible for client delivery in terms of turnaround time, Accuracy of interpretation of legal requirements

Ensure that all the activities as per the agreement with the client are completed in time

Hold quarterly review meetings with the clients to seek feedback & ensure smooth flow of work.

Hold internal reviews to monitor all the activities of the clients with respect to LLC operations, Lodgment / Liaison, Audit and advisory as required

Conduct Weekly reviews to ensure that the respective team leaders are enabling team members to meet client / agreement deadlines.

Responsible to ensure team strength is at its optimum, proactively manage team engagement, attrition and back fills to ensure client deliverables are not impacted.

Ensure smooth transition to replaced employees and clients

Responsible for all billing and collection pertaining to LLC activities, by tracking the billing and collection of all recurring and one-time activities.

Maintain and report monthly MIS of all client deliverables, billing and collection

Ensure that the team members are up to date with the labour laws and are through with changes as and when changes are announced.

Ensure all legal updates to clients under the various Labour Laws are communicated well in time and advise necessary actions to be taken as appropriate. .

Ensure accurate response / interpretations for all legal queries raised by clients under various Labour Welfare Legislations .

Competencies

Thorough knowledge of Labour Laws & Statutory requirements

Excellent English communication skills (Verbal & Written)

Fluency in regional languages such as Kannada and Hindi are a plus

10-12 years
