Revised date of election holiday

The Election Commission of India, vide notification no. ECI/PN/132/2024, dated 31^stAugust 2024, had revised the date of polling for the General Elections to the Legislative Assembly of Haryana from 1^st October 2024 to 5^th October 2024. AscentHR had circulated an alert on the same on 2^nd September 2024.

Now, the Labour Department, Government of Haryana, has withdrawn its earlier notification declaring the election holiday as 1^st October 2024 and confirmed the revised election holiday date as 5^th October 2024, for all eligible employees working in Shops and Commercial Establishments in Haryana.
