Revised date of election holiday

The Election Commission of India, vide notification no. ECI/PN/132/2024, dated 31stAugust 2024, had revised the date of polling for the General Elections to the Legislative Assembly of Haryana from 1st October 2024 to 5th October 2024. AscentHR had circulated an alert on the same on 2nd September 2024.
Now, the Labour Department, Government of Haryana, has withdrawn its earlier notification declaring the election holiday as 1st October 2024 and confirmed the revised election holiday date as 5th October 2024, for all eligible employees working in Shops and Commercial Establishments in Haryana.
