Holiday for election in Maharashtra

The General Elections to the Legislative Assembly of Maharashtra – 2024, is scheduled to be held on 20^th November 2024 (Wednesday). On account of the same, the Government of Karnataka, the Department of Labour, vide notification no. P&S/NFH/CR-3/2024-25, dated 7^th November 2024, has directed all employers in Karnataka to grant a paid holiday on the said polling day to the employees who are from Maharashtra but are working in Karnataka, and who have the right to vote for the said election.
