The General Election to Ponda and Sanquelim Municipal Council in Goa is scheduled to be held on 5th May, 2023. The Government of Goa, vide notification No. 2/1/2017-GAD-III/1530, dated 26th April, 2023, has declared paid holiday on the said polling day for all eligible employees, including causal workers working in private establishments, industries, banks etc. in the state of Goa, to enable them to cast their vote.
