Draft on Odisha Code on Social Security Rules, 2026

The Government of Odisha, vide notification no. 1160─LESI-LR-POL-0004/2026/LESI, dated 16th February 2026, has published the draft of the Odisha Code on Social Security Rules, 2026. This draft will be reviewed after a period of forty-five days from the date of its publication.
Any objections and suggestions should be directed to the Special Secretary to Government, Labour & ESI Department, Odisha, located at Kharavela Bhawan, Bhubaneswar- 751001, and can be sent via email: labsec.or@od.gov.in
The objections and suggestions must be submitted in a proforma that includes:
• Column (1), detailing the name and address of the individual or organisation.
• Column (2), indicating the chapter and rule or sub-rule that is intended to be amended.
• Column (3), presenting the revised rule or sub-rule that is proposed for substitution.
• Column (4), providing the rationale for the proposed changes.
Any objections and suggestions received from individuals regarding the aforementioned draft rules prior to the expiration of the specified period will be taken into account by the State Government.
