The Government of Haryana has updated the conditions for round-the-clock operation of shops and commercial establishments, through notification no. 11/26/2025-4Lab, dated 30th March 2026, replacing the earlier 2009 notification.
To employ women on night shifts (8 PM–6 AM), employers must apply online with a self-certification, meeting the conditions set out in the previous notification.
One key requirement is that a copy of this notification be displayed prominently at the establishment’s employee entrance/exit.
