Software Developer – React JS
Responsibilities
• Focus and commitment to solving complex software development items that meet customer expectations.
• Review work items to estimate and while working alongside senior engineers propose design solutions.
• Be involved with SDLC from requirements to test but own executing development of features & bug fixes that is clean, reusable, maintainable code in Java and React.
• Make necessary database changes to support ongoing development tasks
• Build quality into all tasks, ensure adequate unit testing and support quality assurance engineers
in testing completed items
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions
Technical Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience in frontend development technology React
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Experience in Javascript, Typescript, the DOM, frameworks in general and the core concepts
• Great understanding of Web technologies like XML, XHTML, Client Server side scripting languages such as JavaScript, Typescript and web services development using RESTful implementations.
• Familiarity with the Flux Design Pattern or one of the libraries it inspired Hands on with in Redux
• Hands on with Core web fundamentals: HTML, JavaScript, and CSS Hands on with CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS
• Hands on with JS-based build tools like webpack or vite.
• Experience with unit testing with Mocha or Jest
• JavaScript Libraries like jQuery or Backbone.js
• Front-end (CSS) frameworks like Foundation or Bootstrap AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML)
• Good Communication Skills
• Enterprise tool experience is plus
• Possess a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy making a difference in the business through your contributions
• Experience with Unit Testing and Mocking frameworks and concepts
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with GIT
Qualifications Non-Technical
• Excellent written and Spoken English, for frequent communications with customers’ and partners’ multinational teams
• An advanced English vocabulary on IT technical terms.
• Ability to handle workload with a sense of urgency and reliability
