The Government of Maharashtra, vide notification, dated 18th March 2024, has amended The Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1953, by revising the LWF contributions payable every six months in respect of every employee and employer. The revised LWF contributions are as below:

In respect of an employee, whose name appears in the register of an establishment on the 30th of June and the 31st of December, respectively |
Rs 25/- |

In respect of an employer, for each employee whose name appears in the register of their establishment on the 30th of June and the 31st of December, respectively |
Rs 75/- |

Total |
Rs 100/- |
