Web portal for LWF payment

As per the Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1972, it is mandatory for every establishment to contribute Rs 60/- annually in respect of each employee, which consists of Rs 20/- as employee’s share and Rs 40/- as the employer’s share towards the Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Fund.

In this regard, the Government of Tamil Nadu has recently launched a web portal to facilitate establishment registration and annual payment to the Labour Welfare Fund. Upon completing the online payment, employers can immediately download the receipt. Additionally, provision has also been made to pay the unpaid accumulations to the Labour Welfare Fund through the web portal.
