The Government of Uttar Pradesh, vide notification No. 1178/XXXVI-03–2023-45(Sa.)-2016, dated 7thAugust, 2023, has exempted all Information Technology and Information Technologies Enabled Services Establishments from the provisions of Section 5 and 8 of the Uttar Pradesh Dookan Aur Vanijya Adhisthan Adhiniyam, 1962, thereby allowing the said establishments to operate 24/7 in Uttar Pradesh.
