The Government of Bihar, vide notification dated 1st July 2026, has issued the final notification concerning the Code on Wages (Bihar) Rules, 2026. Consequently, the implementation of this Rule will render the following state Rules obsolete:
• The Bihar Payment of Wages Rules, 1937.
• The Bihar Minimum Wages Rules, 1951.
