The Government of Tamil Nadu, the Labour Welfare and Skill Development Department, vide letter no. 418/J1/2024-1, dated 26th March 2024, has announced 19th April 2024 (Friday), as a paid holiday for all the electors working in any business, trade, industrial undertaking, or any other establishment, to enable them to cast their vote for the General Election to Lok Sabha-2024 and the Bye-Election to the State Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu.
