Revision of LWF contribution rates

The Government of West Bengal, vide notification no. Labr/576641/2024/(LC-LW/MW), dated 19^th November 2024, has revised the half-yearly contribution rate payable by an employer under the West Bengal Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1974. The employer’s rate of contribution has been revised from Rs.15 to Rs.30. Hence, the revised rate of half-yearly LWF contributions effective from January 2024 in West Bengal will be as below:

There has been no change in the employee’s rate of contribution. Contributions for every six months ending on the 30^th day of June and the 31^st day of December, each year, have to be paid before the 15^th day of July and the 15th day of January, respectively.
