The Government of Assam, vide notification no. eCF No.169350/124, dated 1st April 2025, has revised the professional tax slabs applicable for the salaried class in the state, effective from April 2025, as follows:

Rs 15001 or more but less than Rs 25000/- |
Rs 180 per month |

Rs 25000 and more |
Rs. 208 per month |
