Rajasthan Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Rules, 2026

The Government of Rajasthan, vide notification no. S.O.23, dated 30th June 2026, has announced the Rajasthan Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Rules, 2026, in alignment with the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020. These rules will take effect from the date of their publication, which is 30th June 2026.
Upon the commencement of this Rule, the following Rules will be repealed:
1. The Rajasthan Beedi and Cigar Workers (Conditions of Employment) Rules, 1969.
2. The Rajasthan Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Condition of Services) Rules, 2009.
3. The Rajasthan Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Rules, 1971.
4. The Rajasthan Factories Rules, 1951.
5. The Rajasthan Welfare Officers (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1959.
6. The Rajasthan Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1981.
7. The Rajasthan Motor Transport Workers Rules, 1962.
