Permission to employ women for up to 10 PM in Factories

The Government of Bihar, vide notification no. S.O. 136, dated 6th June 2025, has allowed all factories registered under the Factories Act, 1948, in the state to employ female workers before 6 AM and after 7 PM, subject to certain conditions listed in the notification. However, no female worker shall be allowed to work between 10 PM to 5 AM.
