Maharashtra Extension of the last date for filing PT Returns

The Government of Maharashtra, vide notification dated 24^th April 2024, has extended the last date for filing return for which due date falls between the 1^st March 2024 to 31^st March 2024. As per the extended deadline, returns can be filed on or before 30^th April 2024. The notification also grants a waiver of the entire late fee payable for returns within this period if filed on or before the extended deadline. Additionally, any tax payable, along with interest under section 9, must be cleared by 31^st March 2024.
