The General Election to the Legislative Assembly of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir is scheduled to be held in three phases: on September 18th, September 25th, and October 1st, 2024.
On account of the same, the Government of Jammu & Kashmir, vide notification no. GAD-ADM0III/231/2024-09-GAD, dated 23rd August 2024, has declared a paid holiday on respective polling dates to every person employed in any business, trade, industrial undertaking, or any other establishment in Jammu & Kashmir, who is entitled to vote for the said election.
