Further extension of timeline for UAN activation & seeding Bank Account with Adhaar for availing benefits under ELI Scheme

Initially, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation, vide circular no. ELI/UANActivation/2024, dated 22nd November 2024, had requested all employers to complete UAN activation and Aadhaar seeding of bank accounts by 30thNovember 2024, in respect of all their employees who had joined in the financial year 2024-25, starting with the latest joiners, if they wanted to avail the benefits under the ELI scheme (Employment Linked Incentive Scheme).
However, the EPFO, through subsequent circulars, kept extending the given timeline to complete the said activity.
Now, the EPFO, vide circular no. ELI/UANActivation/2025/930083, dated 30th May 2025, further extended the deadline for UAN activation and seeding of bank accounts with Aadhaar for availing the benefits under the ELI Scheme till 30th June 2025.
A detailed note on the ELI scheme was circulated by AscentHR on 30th July 2024 and thereafter on 25th November 2024.
