Extension of permission to operate Shops and Establishments 24/7

As the earlier notification regarding permission to operate Shops and Establishments in Tamil Nadu 24/7 is going to expire on 4th June 2025, the Government of Tamil Nadu, vide notification no. II(2)LWSD/441(a)/2025, dated 8th May 2025, has further extended the permission granted to all Shops and Establishments employing 10 or more employees to operate 24/7 for a period of three years, effective from 5th June 2025. The granted permission is subject to certain conditions stipulated in the notification.
