Extension of deadline for payment of LWF contributions

As per the Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1953, the employer must pay LWF contributions for the period from July to December of the preceding year to the Labour Welfare Board by 15^th January of the succeeding year. However, the Maharashtra Labour Welfare Board has extended the deadline for payment of LWF contributions, specifically for the period from July to December 2024, until 31^stJanuary 2025.
