EPFO extends due date for filing ECR for the wage month of September 2025

The Ministry of Labour and Employment, through a press release dated 13th October 2025, has communicated the EPFO’s decision to extend the deadline for filing Electronic Challan-Cum-Return (ECR) for the wage month of September 2025. The new deadline for filing the ECR has been moved from 15th October 2025 to 22nd October 2025.
This extension is in response to the request from several employers who are adjusting to the new features of the ECR, which the EPFO introduced starting from the wage month of September 2025.
