The General election for Panchayats and Municipalities in the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu is set to take place on 5th November 2025 (Wednesday).
In light of this, the Administration of the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, vide notification no. 19/2025/DDD/DIR (PE & ME)/Paid Holiday/ 117, dated 18th October 2025, has declared a holiday on 5th November 2025 in accordance with section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, for various government offices, banks, and industrial establishments within the aforementioned Union Territory.
