The Government of Maharashtra, vide notification No. PHD-1319/C.R.145/Japuk (XXIX), dated 26th November 2025, has declared a public holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, on account of Election to certain local government bodies, on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025.
This holiday is only applicable to the local government bodies’ election jurisdiction, which are listed in the notification.
