Election holiday for the electors from neighbouring states

The General Election to the Legislative Assembly of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir is scheduled to be held in three phases: on 18^th September 2024, 25^thSeptember 2024, and 1^st October 2024. The General Election to the Legislative Assembly of Haryana is scheduled to be held on 5^th October 2024.

On account of the said elections, the Government of Himachal Pradesh, vide notification no.1-18/85 (Fac) Lab-Vol-II, dated 17^th September 2024, has announced a holiday on the respective polling dates for every person who is eligible to vote for the said election and who works in factories, industrial establishments, shops and other commercial establishments located in Himachal Pradesh.
