Election holiday for the electors from neighbouring states

The General Election to the Legislative Assembly of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir is scheduled to be held in three phases. That is, on 18^th September 2024, 25^th September 2024, and 1^st October 2024. The General Election to the Legislative Assembly of Haryana – 2024, is scheduled to be held on 5^th October 2024.

On account of the said elections, the Government of Punjab, vide notification no. Labour-Lab0PSCA/1/2024-2L/929145, dated 17^th  September 2024, has announced a holiday on the respective polling dates to every person who is eligible to vote for the above election and who is working in shops and commercial establishments in Punjab.
