Election holiday for the electors from neighbouring states

The General Election to the Legislative Assembly of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir is scheduled to be held in three phases. That is, on 18th September 2024, 25th September 2024, and 1st October 2024. The General Election to the Legislative Assembly of Haryana – 2024, is scheduled to be held on 5th October 2024.
On account of the said elections, the Government of Punjab, vide notification no. Labour-Lab0PSCA/1/2024-2L/929145, dated 17th September 2024, has announced a holiday on the respective polling dates to every person who is eligible to vote for the above election and who is working in shops and commercial establishments in Punjab.
