The Government of Meghalaya, vide notification no. LE& SD 62/2024/84, dated 16th January 2025, has issued certain conditions in respect of any factory that applies for exemption for employing women during the night shift. The notification has outlined certain stringent safety and security conditions for employing women during the night shift in factories across Meghalaya.
