The Government of Madhya Pradesh, vide notifications no. 734/1/0016/2025/A-16 and no. 736/1/0015/2025/A-16, dated 27th June 2025, has exempted Shops and Establishments, and Factories in the state from the restriction of employing women during the night shift, subject to certain conditions. These notifications shall supersede the earlier notifications regarding the same subject, dated 1st August 2022 and 24th June 2016.
