Conditions for employing women during the night shift in Shops and Establishments – Goa

The Government of Goa, vide notification no. 24/14/2021/LAB/413, dated 3rd July 2025, has allowed women to work in shops and establishments between 7 PM and 6 AM, subject to the following conditions:
1. Employment between 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM shall be with the written consent of the concerned women workers.
2. Adequate, secure, and safe transportation facilities shall be provided to the women workers to pick up and drop off such workers at their residences.
3. CCTV cameras shall be provided and maintained in the work areas where women workers will be employed.
4. Provide safe, secure, and healthy working conditions such that no woman worker is disadvantaged in connection with her employment.
