Change of Eid-e-Milad holiday date in Mumbai

The Government of Maharashtra, vide notification no. PHD-1125/C.R.174/Japuk(29), dated 3rd September 2025, has revised the holiday date declared on account of Eid-e-Milad from 5th September 2025 to 8th September 2025, in Mumbai City and Mumbai Suburban districts under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.
Please note: For districts other than Mumbai City and Mumbai Suburban, the date of holiday shall remain as 5th September 2025.
