Himachal Pradesh Bye-Election Holiday

Bye-election for various Assembly Constituencies in Himachal Pradesh is scheduled to be held on 10th July 2024 (Wednesday). In order to enable the electors to exercise their franchise, the government of Himachal Pradesh, vide notification No. GAD-A(B) 8-1/2024, dated 21st June 2024, has announced a paid holiday on the said polling day for all the voters working in any industrial establishments or any other establishments situated in Himachal Pradesh.
Also, a special holiday on 10th July 2024 has been declared in certain border areas of Himachal Pradesh for the voters from the neighbouring states such as Punjab and Uttarakhand on account of the bye-election in respective neighbouring states.
