EPFO user manual on filing joint declaration online for member profile modification/addition

Further to the earlier notification by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation, dated 23rd August,2023, wherein they had provided contents on the online joint declaration as a part of Standard Operating Procedure, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation has now released a user manual on filing joint declaration online for member profile and service detail modification/ addition with respect to:
- Name
- Gender
- Date of Birth
- Father’s Name
- Relationship
- Marital Status
- Date of Joining
- Reason of Leaving
- Date of Leaving
- Nationality
- Aadhaar Number
AscentHR circulated the previous alert and notification on this on 11th September, 2023.
The user manual released by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation contains the process for login and the steps to navigate on the portal. It also provides a list of documents that can be attached as proof of each change/addition.
The employer also has an option to upload supporting documents, if any, at the time of approving the joint declaration. This would help in maintaining the correct profile of the member and reduce rejection of the joint declaration.
