Scheduled shutdown of the EPFO application software

The Employees Provident Fund Organisation, vide circular no. E-890344, dated 22nd June 2026, has communicated to all its field offices regarding the upcoming launch of the Centralised IT Enabled System (CITES) within this month. The EPFO has indicated that this migration will require a scheduled shutdown of the application software for approximately 3 to 4 days, starting on 26th June 2026. Consequently, claims processing by the field offices will be unavailable during this time, resulting in delays for claims that are received and pending at the commencement of the migration process.
