Exemption from renewal of the Shops & Establishment Registration Certificate

The Government of Andhra Pradesh, vide notification no. G.O.Ms.No.4, dated 12th March 2026, has permitted Shops and Establishments employing 20 or more workers to obtain a lifetime Registration Certificate under the Andhra Pradesh Shops and Establishments Act, 1988. According to the notification, Shops and Establishments in Andhra Pradesh with 20 or more workers are exempt from renewing their registration certificate, provided they meet certain conditions such as payment of the prescribed fee, submission of the combined annual return within the due date, etc.
