Revision of minimum wages – Madhya Pradesh – 180226

The Labour Commissioner, Madhya Pradesh, vide circular dated 18th February 2026, reaffirms that the revised minimum wage rates effective from 1st April 2024, as notified on 4th March 2024, have become enforceable again following the High Court’s order dated 10th February 2025, which disposed of the writ petitions challenging the notification. Employers have been instructed to ensure the immediate payment of these revised wages, including arrears wherever applicable, to all regular and outsourced employees. The following are the details of minimum wages applicable for Shops and Commercial establishments in the state, effective from 1st April 2024 to 30th September 2024:
