Draft on Odisha Industrial Relations Rules, 2026

The Government of Odisha, vide notification no. 1154─LESI-LR-POL-0002/2026/LESI, dated 16th February 2026, has released the draft of the Odisha Industrial Relations Rules, 2026. This draft will be reviewed after a period of thirty days from the date of its publication. Any objections and suggestions may be directed to:

The Special Secretary to Government, Labour & ESI Department, Kharavela Bhawan, Bhubaneswar-751001, and can be sent via e-mail: labsec.or@od.gov.in

The objections and suggestions must be submitted in a proforma that includes:

• Column (1), indicating the name and address of the individual or organisation.

• Column (2), indicating the rule or sub-rule that is proposed for modification.

• Column (3), indicating the revised rule or sub-rule that is suggested for substitution.

• Column (4), providing the reasons for the proposed changes.

Objections and suggestions received from any individual regarding the aforementioned draft notification before the expiration of the specified period will be taken into account by the State Government.
