Consequent to the enforcement of the Code on Wages, 2019, which takes effect from 21st November 2025, the Central Government has issued the Draft on Code on Wages (Central) Rules, 2025, through notification no. G.S.R. 936(E), dated 30thDecember 2025.
This draft will be considered after a period of forty-five days from the date of its publication. Any objections and suggestions may be directed to Shri Nitesh Bhasin, Under Secretary, Government of India, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Shram Shakti Bhawan, Rafi Marg, New Delhi-110001, or e-mailed to wagecell@nic.in
Objections and suggestions received from any individual regarding the draft prior to the expiration of the specified period may be taken into account by the Central Government.
