Exemption from registration of establishment employing 0-10 employees

The Government of Rajasthan, vide notification no. F.14(11)(3)RegistrationExemption/Labour/Law/2025/Part/002067, dated 20th August 2025, has exempted establishments in the state that employ zero to ten (0-10) employees from the requirement of registration under the Rajasthan Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958, and Rules, 1959.
As per the exemption, establishments with up to 10 employees are now not required to obtain the registration certificate by making an application to the prescribed authority under Rule 3 of the Rajasthan Shops and Commercial Establishments Rules, 1959.
