The Government of Himachal Pradesh, vide notification no. LEP-A003/15/2023-Pt-II, dated 5th July 2025, has published certain conditions for employing women during the night shift (7 PM to 6 AM) in shops and commercial establishments in the state. This exemption from the restriction on employing women during the night shift shall be valid for a period of one year from the date of publication of the notification and shall be applicable for shops and commercial establishments which are allowed to operate during the night shift.
