Change in PT collecting agents in Visakhapatnam & Vijayawada

The Government of Andhra Pradesh, vide notification no. G.O.Ms.No.63, dated 5^th March 2025, has changed the collection agents for the collection of Professional Tax under the Andhra Pradesh Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Act, 1987, in the districts of Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada of Andhra Pradesh.

Effective 1^st April 2025, the PT collection agents in the above two locations shall be from the Andhra Pradesh Commercial Taxes Department (APCTD) instead of the Municipal Corporation. Hence, PT within the above two geographical limits has to be paid to the APCTD instead of the respective Municipal Corporation.
