Further extension of timeline for UAN activation and Aadhaar seeding of bank accounts for availing benefits under the ELI Scheme

Previously, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation, vide circular no. ELI/UANActivation/2024, dated 22^nd November 2024, had requested all employers to complete UAN activation and Aadhaar seeding of bank accounts by 30^thNovember 2024, in respect of all their employees who had joined in the current financial year, starting with the latest joinees, in order to avail the benefits under the ELI scheme (Employment Linked Incentive Scheme). Thereafter, EPFO has extended the timeline from 30^th November 2024 to 15^th December 2024.

Now, the EPFO, vide circular no. ELI/UAN Activation/2024, dated 20^th December 2024, has further extended the timeline from 15^th December 2024 to 15^th January 2025 for UAN activation and Aadhaar seeding of bank accounts of the employees, in order to be eligible for the ELI scheme.
