Maharashtra Extension of the last date for filing PT Returns

The Government of Maharashtra, vide notification dated 24th April 2024, has extended the last date for filing return for which due date falls between the 1st March 2024 to 31st March 2024. As per the extended deadline, returns can be filed on or before 30th April 2024. The notification also grants a waiver of the entire late fee payable for returns within this period if filed on or before the extended deadline. Additionally, any tax payable, along with interest under section 9, must be cleared by 31st March 2024.
