Lead Gen Specialist
Key Responsibilities
• Research and identify potential customers across the South India market, based on target industries, company size, and decision-makers.
• Generate new leads through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, social media, and other outbound channels.
• Engage prospects in meaningful and professional conversations to understand their business needs and current challenges.
• Qualify leads based on need, budget, decision-making authority, and timelines (BANT)
• Classify leads as hot, warm, or cold, and hand over qualified leads to the sales team with complete and accurate details.
• Maintain and regularly update lead information, interaction history, and lead status in CRM systems or Excel trackers.
• Work towards assigned individual and team lead generation targets, ensuring consistency and quality of outreach.
• Share regular updates, reports, and dashboards with internal teams and stakeholders.
Competencies & Skills
• 4–5 years of experience in Lead Generation, Inside Sales, or Business Development roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage prospects confidently.
• Active listening and relationship-building skills to understand customer needs.
• Persuasion and basic objection-handling skills for productive conversations.
• Networking and stakeholder engagement skills across roles and industries.
• Tech-savvy with experience in CRM tools, Excel/lead trackers, and digital outreach platforms.
• Knowledge of telemarketing and outbound lead generation techniques.
• Ability to work across multiple verticals and South India markets is an added advantage.
• Process-oriented with attention to detail for accurate data and follow-up.
